The Itinerary

Cairo - Giza  - Aswan - Abu Simble - Luxor - Dahabiya - Abydous - Dandara - Alexandria

Day 1

Pick you up from the airport to your hotel in Cairo. Then we start our tour to The Egyptian Museum in Egypt, where we will explore the ancient Egyptians treasures specially the treasures of King Tut-Ank-Amun. Then we will have a look on Tahrir Square, which 2011 revolution was started at. Then we will go to the Nile to have a Felucca Ride for 1 hour enjoying the Nile View. Then we will have a walk in Khan el Khalily Old Market. Then we will back again to the Hotel.


Day 2
After having your breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the the south west of Giza. Our first sight will be Sakkara where we will see the complex of King Zoser and see how the first pyramid in Egypt had build. â€¨Then we will take our Car to the second stop in Sakkara to see King Titi Pyramid, and enter it from inside to see the burial chamber and watch the amazing Hieroglyphics writing over its walls. We will explore some of the Nobles' tombs who were living during King Titi time.
Then we will drive to Memphis where we will visit The Alabaster Sphinx & The Colossi of Ramsis II. Then we will drive to the north around 30 mins, once we arrive Giza Area, We will stop at the papyrus museum, where we will learn about the oldest and the strongest paper in the history. We are going to see the process of making it and the guide there will explain for us the most important stories which we had discovered on them and you will get chance in case you like to buy something.
Then we will drive to the great pyramid and we will get time to climb some few stones of it and take some photos Then we will drive through the pyramids to a spot called the Panoramic view where yo u can do the best photos from there. Then We will see the queens pyramids then we will drive to the valley temple where we will visit The Great Sphinx, The oldest and biggest statue for a Sphinx.



Day 3
We will check out early morning and go the  airport to fly to Luxor. â€‹ When We arrive Luxor, we will start our first tour there to Luxor temple and Karnak temple, the largest one in the size, where we will see the huge columns, and the huge obelisks and the sphinx avenue. Then Check in the hotel.

Day 4

​ After getting our breakfast, we will will start our tour to the west bank of Luxor where we will visit a lot of sightseeing’s there. Our first stop will be Memnon Colossi then we will visit Queen Hashebsut temple, which is part of it was carved in the rock and the rest was built in three levels. Then we will visit the valley of the kings, where we will explore some of its tombs and the amazing colored walls with the scenes of the book of the dead 


Day 5

​ After getting our breakfast, We will start our tour to Abydous & Danadra Temples​

Day 6

​ Esna, located some 33 miles south of Luxor, is where you will board your dahabiya and meet the crew. A thriving merchant town, Esna is best known for the small ancient Temple of Khnum, which sits 9 meters below street level. Your trip will begin with a brief walk to the temple and a stroll through streets filled with beautiful textiles and other exotic goods. 



Day 7

El Kab, on the East bank of the Nile, was once the capital of Upper Egypt and is still home to the temple of Nekhbet, as well as a row of fascinating decorated tombs carved into the slope of the mountains. Upon docking, you will embark on a beautiful walk through a small fishermen village to visit the necropolis.  
 In the afternoon, the boat will arrive at Edfu, home to the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to the god Horus. This is among the best preserved of all Egyptian temples. Horse and carriage will take you to the temple through the busy city streets. After returning to the boat, you will set sail for a beautiful island. 


Day 8

This is a day devoted to the river: immediately after an optional morning walk and breakfast, you will set sail. In the afternoon, you will stop at an island for a stroll or to swim in the Nile. As dusk begins, there may be an opportunity to walk into the desert along a valley lined with boulders covered in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and stone-age inscriptions. These images mark the beginning of the shortest trail through the desert to Libya (28 days in ancient times). At night, the boat will tie up the foot of floodlit temple of Gebel Silsileh. 



Day 9

Here, the Nile, flowing between two mountains ranges, is at its narrowest. You will usually be the only visitors at this fascinating site, as large Nile cruisers are not allowed to stop here. After visiting the small temple of Horemheb and walking through the sandstone quarries, where ancient Egyptians cut stone for many of their most famous temples, you will visit a picturesque café to enjoy tea and shisha (waterpipe). You will then sail to a picturesque riverbank where you will stop for lunch and swimming. 



Day 10

After a night on the water and beneath the stars, the morning trip will take you to the town and temple of Komombo. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period on the site of an older temple and at one of the most beautiful locations, on a bend on the river. The temple was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed god. After enjoying the temple, you will visit the new Crocodile Museum, which contains many mummified crocodiles, attesting to the importance the creature played in this region in ancient times. 



Day 11
Awake to the beautiful sight of the desert closing in on the river at Aswan Bridge. Here your cruise comes to an end. You will leave us relaxed and refreshed in the morning. Once we arrive Aswan, we will start our tour to Phiela Temple which located in the middle of the Nile. Then we go to visit the un finished Obelisk. Then check in the hotel. 


Day 12

We will start very early driving around 300 km south of Aswan to visit one of the best temples in Egypt which was had been carved inside the mountain, Abu Simble Temples.  Then we back to Aswan and fly to Cairo. 



Day 13 

We will drive to the citadel of Salah El Din. We will see the real walls of the citadel which dates back to the 12th century. Inside, we will visit The Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, One of the landmarks of Islamic Cairo. Where we can know some info about the mosque, and the modern history of Egypt and the Islamic Culture. Then we will see great panoramic view for Cairo city. 

we will drive to the Coptic Area where we will first visit The Hanging Church Of Saint Mary. This church was build in the 4th century and one of the unique churches in Egypt. Then we will see the Roman Fortress. Then St. George Church and his chapel. Then St. Serguis Church which contains the cave of the holy family. Then our last stop will be the Jews Synagogue of Ben Ezra, The oldest one still survive in Egypt. 

We will walk through the old part of the city, where you will see the old streets, buildings, mosques & The Market of Khan El Khalily, the oldest one in Egypt still survive.  



Day 14
After having your breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and will drive around 230 km north west of Cairo. Alexandria is considered the second big city in Egypt after Cairo, It was the capital of Egypt for almost 1000 years. Our first stop will be the Catacombs of Nom El Shokafa where we will see how the ancient Egyptians art had mixed by the greek roman art. We will explore some of the tombs which located 30 m under the ground and dates back to the 1st and 2nd centuries. 
Then we will drive to Pompey Pillar, to see the location of one of the oldest and biggest temples was found in Alexandria and we will see Pompey pillar, the huge column which still survive from the 3rd century.Then we will go to Qaid Bay Citadel which was build in the 15th century in the same location of the Light House off Alexandria,one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. Then we will visit Alexandria Library where we will visit some small museums and art galleries and you will get time to explore the biggest library in the whole world. Also you will get your time  to enjoy your lunch in front of the Mediterranean sea. Then we will drive back to cairo.


Day 15

Fly Back home
